Pitch & Pick Summer '22 Finalists Announced

Another fantastic cohort of our eight-week accelerator program Evolution has just finished up! To cap off the immersive learning experience, Pitch & Pick will feature six of the cohort’s top ventures in a head-to-head pitch competition. The six finalists are:

Sport Data Platform (Curltime/DDR)
Founders: Paul Smith, Meik Kenworthy, Cameron Crossley, Rob DiDio
Sport Data Platform is a platform meant to improve sports through data. Sport Data Platform aims to collect data from various hardware and software, create an analytics studio, and provide real-time data visibility and media integrations. The platform is available directly for consumers, business to business via API integrations, and for onsite or remote broadcast.

Healing Puzzles
Founder: Shirley Snow
The company’s name is Customized Therapeutic Puzzles INC which is a communication platform. The product being developed on this platform is Healing Puzzles. Healing Puzzles is a counseling tool, it is a new, innovative way to help open the line of communication between the counselor and the client breaking down communication barriers. Counselors will have the ability to customize each puzzle to suit the individual needs of their individual client.

AI Vision
Founder: Kent Barter
AI Vision is an innovative software platform for automated OCT analysis to accurately measure and represent retinal architecture for use in the diagnosis of diseases found in the retina

Rapipo
Founder: Mohammadhossein Moghaddas Jafari (Mo)
Rapipo is a Canadian service provider. We help connect travelers who are willing to carry or send packages, documents, letters, etc. It helps the sender have a faster, and much cheaper experience and the carrier, to cover some of their ticket/gas costs! Currently we are using an auction-like mechanism to have the best prices available that senders and carriers can agree on but currently, we are also testing an automatic calculation (using ML and AI) to have a competitive price over traditional post! In return we will charge a small fee for our service, just like Airbnb and DoorDash.

Recimply
Founder: Tyler Pike
Paper receipts are inconvenient and harmful to our environment. An estimated 10 million trees, 250 million gallons of oil, and 1 billion gallons of water are used to produce paper receipts annually. Thermal paper is coated with potentially harmful chemicals like BPA and BPS, meaning they’re also not recyclable. Recimply gives businesses and consumers a better solution for receipts. All of a user's digital receipts are stored within one application. Businesses can better connect with shoppers via our “Smart Receipts”, incorporating promotions, surveys, contact channels, and other interactive features.

Resolvers
Founders: Sidra Anwar, Rushi Shah
Resolvers, aims to develop a middleware platform where customers can select the category of service and place, have the option of device pickup and drop-off, in-home services and remote assistance with total transparency, the status of progress and price control. The platform will connect all the local technicians and small businesses in the field to provide the best and quick services. In addition, it will provide an opportunity for tech-savvy folks in your neighborhood to register with us and utilize their tech skills to earn some extra bucks as per their availability and abilities. They will also be promoted due to their ratings, hours of operations, distance etc. Problem diagnosis and estimated quote will be free for the customers, including the pickup and drop-off.
