Genesis Announces Partnership with BDO Canada LLP

March 4, 2021, St. John’s NL: Genesis, Memorial University’s incubator for high-growth technology startups, is rolling out a list of new partnerships to further strengthen the supports offered to tech entrepreneurs in its Enterprise program. This will bring greater resources and expertise to its clients. The partnerships will facilitate crucial relationships with Genesis’ rapidly-growing client companies, who are all in the early years of growing their ventures. Genesis clients will gain access to the domain expertise they need to help them accelerate the growth of their business. These early conversations about the health of critical components of the business will be a key driver for future success.

Genesis is unveiling its latest partnership with the St. John’s office of BDO Canada LLP, an internationally-renowned firm specializing in assurance, accounting, tax & advisory services. BDO is highly experienced in helping their clients meet business challenges with innovative solutions, and will serve in an advisory capacity to Genesis’ portfolio of Enterprise clients.

BDO will provide Genesis clients access to a wide range of expert talent through workshops, mentoring and their unique tools for startups, including their Virtual CFO (Chief Financial Officer) resource. In exchange, BDO will provide financial support to Genesis to re-invest into programs and startup development.
