Membership flexes to how you work. Start when you're ready, with no royalties or revenue share on what you build, and no claim on your IP. It renews year to year. Over time, some Members go on to Residency, a more concentrated track within Membership. Wherever you take it, the support stays with you.

What is Genesis Membership?
Genesis Membership is the core program at Genesis, Newfoundland & Labrador's hub for early-stage tech startups. It gives founders coaching, a founder community, workspace, funding access, and tools to build and grow their companies.
How much does Membership cost?
Membership is $150 a month and includes a desk. It's free for students until six months after graduation.
Does Genesis take equity for Membership?
No. Joining Membership doesn't cost equity, royalties, or a revenue share.
Does Genesis take any IP?
No. What you create is yours. Genesis makes no claim on your intellectual property, your product, or your code.
Who is Membership for?
Membership is for tech founders in Newfoundland & Labrador, at any stage. We look for a real problem, evidence you've started, and a willingness to learn and accept feedback.
What do Genesis members get?
Members get coaching from startup advisors, a founder community, coworking space, funding access, support from the AI Garage, and founder-only events.

What’s the difference between Membership and Residency?
