5 Intellectual Property Tools You Should Know About

Take an engaging journey into the world of intellectual property (IP). What tools from the "IP toolbox" might you need to protect your business, invention or creation? Is it better to use a trademark, trade secret, patent, copyright, or an industrial design? How long does it take and what does it cost?

This interactive presentation will introduce you to the types of IP and when you might use them.

Intellectual property rights are administered by the Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO). Find out how to protect a brand, your innovations and how to search CIPO's databases for valuable business information.
